An unscreened RJ45 data socket module with enhanced CAT5E performance. Typically used for Gigabit Ethernet connections in both domestic and commercial environments, it is designed for use with CAT5 cable which features wires in a twisted pair configuration to combat crosstalk and system noise but is also backwards compatible with Ethernet via CAT5. Accepting a standard 8P8C female connector, the MOD-J45-C5W can also be used for some telephone and even video applications. The MOD-J45-C5W is compatible with all Hamilton Euro plates, from either the metal or plastic ranges so your data connections, along with other Euro requirements can remain in keeping with your Hamilton plug sockets, light switches and dimmers. Can be used in both EIA 568A and EIA 568B wiring schedules and due to the size of the back of the unit, the MOD-J45-C5W requires a 25mm mounting box to allow space for wiring etc.
